Last Saturday, Haiku Heights meme celebrated its first anniversary, and this Thursday my Haiku venture turns one year young. I never thought a three-lined non-rhyming poem, just 17 syllables, in three phrases, 5-7-5 syllable structure, will make me fall in love with it madly. As a trial and error method I started to write this form, later the love for Haiku made me to throw a challenge to myself, “The Haiku Challenge”. The intimacy between Haiku and me can’t be defined and let it be the same.
I heartily congratulate Leo for hosting Haiku Heights successfully for the past one year and wishing him for more success in the fore coming years too. ‘Last but not the least’, a special heartily thanks to Leo for inspiring me to write this beautiful form of art. Thank you so much my dear friend. I dedicate the below work to Haiku Heights, Leo and for my muse.
