! The Haiku Challenge 2012 – 29 days – 29 Haiku – Day 4 !

Happy to hold you
as my life, but it hurts when
our parents shed tears

heart smiles to dream
a love journey with you, but
the reality hurts

  1. i think this theme that you chose, "the opposite feelings", is a wonderful representation of the yin and yang of life co-existing – thank you for the challenge, for this theme in particular and for the beautiful examples you yourself posted above 🙂

  2. It sounds sad and with sacrifices, no doubt!

Beautiful to read you, your words flowed smoothly.

This is a tough one for me. My mind was a complete blank. Anyway, have to go for classes and managed to come up with the one I posted. Hopefully, it's fine.

  3. It takes enormous courage to follow your heart. I know so many who have not because of cultural and parental pressures. There is no easy solution. A very interesting poem. Thank you.

  4. Beautifully written.I really get unable to judge which one is the best of yours. All are speechless and worth filled with deep and different emotions! 🙂

I am really enjoying writing haiku. Thanks to you dear! 🙂
