Day 8 ♥ Happiness is visiting historic temples.

Happiness is visiting historic temples

Happiness is visiting historic temples. It’s been a long time since we went to historic temples. Today, my wife, my friend and I, went to Sri Big Bull Temple, Basavanagudi. We reached Central Silk Board Junction at around 10 AM and took a cab from there to the temple. It is also advisable to go till Banashankari and from there take a cab. At around 10:30 AM, we reached the temple. First we went to Sri Dodda Ganapati Temple; I’ve never seen such a huge large Ganapati Idol… felt so good. After spending thirty minutes there, we walked to Bull Temple, it is right next to the Ganapati Temple.

I have no words to describe the calmness inside. The beautifully decorated huge Nandi (Bull), the green surrounding and very friendly Pujaris spoke about the temple. We felt good! After spending a good amount of time there, we came out of the temple and clicked a few photographs. We even shopped outside. It was a calm and serene place.

And here is a small poem dedicated to Vidhya…

What do I say?
How can I tell you?
My love is you,
Love and love only!

This post is published as a part of 100 Days of Happiness, inspired by Vinay Leo’s idea and encouragement. Thank you so much, Leo! Much Love!
