The book went into print in Delhi, which unfortunately did not happen due to faulty machines at site. On the other side I had all the preparations set for the book launch in Bangalore. I invited one of the General Managers of Wipro to launch the book. Which made the situation tense… I had to find a printing house at the last minute. Luckily, I found a Tamil Publisher, who happily accepted the proposal, got it printed in less than a week’s time, without comprising on the quality. However, all thanks to the old Software versions they had, trailing space between the last word of the current line and the first word of the next line got removed and the change in page setup became a big headache. I had to sit all night along with my brother to correct the typos (Isha sat became Ishasat) correcting the errors in printed material and then in PageMaker was challenging. We did our best to bring the book into a good shape.
And as per the plan, the book was launched by Saji Peter on June 4, 2017. The book did very well in the first few months totaling up to 300+ sales worldwide in less than 3 months. However, due to the lack of helping hands from my close friends’ circle and extended blogging circle, the sales took a dip. Only a few friends were happy to order a copy and read, rest of them was not ready to spend ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY THREE rupees for a book.
What made me happy was all reviews from Amazon Verified Purchases are five-star reviews. And I am getting back to basics for the debut author. I am giving free review copies of the book. I celebrated #SuperStarRajinikanth birthday by giving 12 copies of the book for free. Thanks to Shenthil Kumar (one of the winners from the giveaway) for posting encouraging reviews and comments all throughout the day. I am also receiving positive feedback from other winners. I am excited.
To celebrate Christmas and Welcome New Year, I am hosting a small contest and giveaway. All you need to do is to subscribe to my new YouTube channel and leave a comment of your display name.
